Sam Maxwell
Sam is a lifelong Alaskan, born in Anchorage in 1957. Sam spent his childhood in south Anchorage and his teen years working in the family gold mine in the Fortymile mining area.
Sam has been involved with aviation and flying since the late 70’s. He was a volunteer pilot for the Iditarod Air Force from the late 80’s to the late 90’s. Since the 70’s he has flown throughout Alaska logging thousands of hours.
Sam’s careers have taken him from a mechanic to sales to remote construction management, and now his true passion, the helicopter industry. Sam spent many years tackling logistical issues working in all parts of remote Alaska. He has become one of the “go-to” guys for solving remote logistical challenges.
