We know how much of a pain it can be trying to cram all of your bulky, wet, stinky gear into the helicopter at the end of a hard day of stomping through the creeks and tributaries of Alaska so we installed external cargo racks just for you! We can lash on your fish shockers, coolers, nets, probes, and whatever else you don’t want in your lap during the flight to make your transportation to and from the job a little more pleasurable. Pollux is also very in-tune with aerial fish counting surveys as our pilots have logged hundreds of hours hovering over many rivers of Alaska in search of spawning Salmon. We have helped in fish counting studies for Sockeye (red-salmon), Coho (silver-salmon), and chinook (king-salmon) Salmon.
Check out the R44 Advantages page for more details on our cargo racks. For a helicopter price quote on your next study contact our Charter Services or your local AMD officer for federal jobs.
